NAIM KASHEM
PARAPROFESSIONAL
I have been a paraprofessional with the P.S. 527 community since 2019. During my time at the school, I have had the opportunity to work alongside multiple grade levels, ranging from first through fifth grade. This experience has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of students’ academic, social, and emotional needs at different stages of their growth. Throughout my tenure at P.S. 527, I have built meaningful and lasting relationships with the students I support, and I take pride in consistently motivating them to be the best versions of themselves both inside and outside the classroom.
My background in education began as an after school counselor, where I discovered my passion for working with children and supporting their development in a structured yet engaging environment. After graduating from John Jay College, I found my way back to the classroom, where I knew I could make a lasting impact. As a paraprofessional, I am committed to supporting teachers, fostering a positive learning environment, and providing students with the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed. My passion for working with students continues to grow each year, and I remain deeply committed to contributing to the P.S. 527 community.
