LUISA FRANCO

PARAPROFESSIONAL

My name is Luisa Franco, I grew up in a small town in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States to fulfill my NYC dreams. In my free time I enjoy exercising, traveling, and makeup. I studied at Hostos Community College, where I got my associates degree of science in Early Childhood Education. My main job is being a mother of three beautiful children but I have also been a paraprofessional for 19 years, with 13 of those years working at PS 527.

This field requires an immense amount of empathy, passion and patience. It has been such a blessing to be able to motivate and transform the lives of so many young leaders that pass through our classrooms everyday.
