KASEY EPSTEIN

School Social Worker

Kasey Epstein was born in Queens, New York and raised in Rockland County.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology from Purchase College and a Master's in Social Work from NYU, establishing a strong academic foundation for her career as a school social worker. With an LCSW certification under her belt, she has further honed her expertise with two post-master's certificates in "Clinical Approaches to Addiction" and "Child and Family Therapy." Kasey's dedication to professional growth continues as she is actively pursuing certification in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

Kasey Epstein is a dedicated school social worker with more than a decade of experience in the Department of Education (DOE).  Here at PS 527, she specializes in supporting children from kindergarten through second grade, making a positive impact on their social and emotional well-being. Passionate about education and fostering a nurturing environment, Kasey is committed to helping young learners thrive
