PARAPROFESSIONAL

Andrea is a dedicated paraprofessional with over 15 years of experience working with children in both school-day and after-school settings. She began her journey in education in 2009 and joined PS 527 in 2019 as a substitute paraprofessional, where she quickly found a home. She is now proud to serve as a permanent paraprofessional at PS 527.

She holds an Associate’s degree in Media Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies with a concentration in Communications and Media. Andrea’s background allows her to connect with students in creative and meaningful ways while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth. She is passionate about creating a safe, encouraging environment where every child feels seen, supported, and capable of success.
